Keeping insulated, wrapped up and warm in this cold was on our minds as John and I went out on yet another hunt for our Birmingham Street Style Project and in collaboration with The Rakish Gent. And it would make a topical theme for many of our readers.

John noticed Willard Wigan, MBE, as he was walking past the ICC, the folds of his generous grey herringbone tweed overcoat moving in the wind like large wings. We liked his broadly cut grey tweed casual style overcoat with reglan sleeves and asymmetric collar trim, custom-made tweed jacket paired with blue jeans that exuded confident presence.

Willard Wigan is a famous micro sculptor, the creator of the smallest sculpture in the world, whose impressive work can be found in the collections of Prince Charles, Sir Elton John, Sir Philip Green, Lord Bath, Mike Tyson and Simon Cowell to name but a few.  You can see his work on his website.
