Birmingham International Food Fair  2013 is still in full swing until Sunday 25 August. 120 stalls showcasing delicious food from around the world plus local food and drink can be enjoyed if you wander around Chamberlain and Victoria Square, as well as Upper New Street. You can taste an ostrich burger or a curried goat, Japanese noodles, French biscuits, Polish barbeque, Italian sweets, Spanish paella and many more interesting dishes.

We visited it on a bright sunny Sunday afternoon. John had back pain, so we only had a quick browse (and smell) around this multi-cultural festival of food and bought a selection of wonderful Iranian baklavas to take with us home. I had time to take only a few photos of the fair but loved long shadows and sun flair.
