Some men are incredibly cold-resistant! I wouldn’t dream of wearing just a piece of knitwear to keep me warm this season, but Shaun whom we stopped outside the ICC for our Birmingham Street Style Project looked quite comfortable in his grey knitted cardigan that he got in Little Italy at Northfields.
Ha-ha, it’s now official – I like grey – and keep picking up my street style subjects wearing it!
Shaun’s grey cardigan scores many points with me. I like the textures of various ribbing techniques used and its designer’s attention to detail – the large shawl collar that can be worn up or down, the way how the pattern on the shoulders matches the collar, breast pockets with buttoned flaps, chunky cables and the wide button panel in the centre.
