Brum Street Style Project – Jordie and Mark

It was John that scouted Jordie and Mark for our Brum Street Style project outside Bullring – while I was figuring out how to photograph them quickly in low evening sun without getting in the way of gazillions of shoppers who kept going in and out of the shopping centre.

Our attention was caught by the unisex Hack Baroque Sub t-shirt from Foot Asylum that Jordie was wearing. Retro photo realist t-shirt prints combined with skinny black trousers or jeans have epitomised this summer’s urban street look. Her hat was from Top Man and she carried a Fred Perry bag. John liked Jordie’s ‘Cogito ergo sum’ tatoo. She is a third-year philosophy student – that figures!

Mark was wearing a distinctive Hype Space Dust Logo Sub t-shirt from Foot Asylum, Top Man jacket and New Era Chicago White Sox 59FIFTY cap.

We chose the Library of Birmingham as a location for our yesterday’s Brum Street Style Project hunt. I also hoped that with the…
