After we finished with the jungle vibe look that I posted in Part 1 we moved to a small lavender field (or a large lavender flower bed, if you wish) nearby at St Paul’s Square, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. I thought that colours of Chante’s urban camouflage shirt and light jeans would fit with the mottled patchwork of lavender plants in this part of our photo session. So it’s another location where the original reference point of the camouflage as an outfit could be activated.

The lavender pastel shades called for a softer, more introverted kind of posing – more organic body language, closed eyes, etc. It was not terribly comfortable for Chante’, however, to curl her body on the ground in the midst of the field and smell lavender at such a close proximity. She deserves a shout for being so professional!
